Carolina® Density of Solutions Value Kit

Grades 6–12. Explore density with these colorful activities and help students improve their graphical analysis skills. Students create a tabletop rainbow sugar solution density column and determine the percent sugar in a grape juice sample. Extend the lesson to determine percent sugar in other sugar-sweetened beverages (not included). Value kit materials support 4 classes of 32 students each working in pairs.
