Mammal Reticular Tissue Slide Silver Stain

Reticular tissue is a type of loose connective tissue that is primarily composed of reticular fibers (type III collagen fibers). Students can use this slide, a section of mammal lymph node stained with silver stain, to easily identify the long, branching reticular fibers. This type of tissue is found in bone marrow and lymphatic tissues.
