Mold Types Slide

Mold is a type of fungus that grows in multicellular, thread-like filaments called hyphae. With this slide, students can examine the morphology of 3 common types of mold: Penicillium, Aspergillus, and Rhizopus. Each is shown separately. The detail of this slide shows a clear contrast between the conidia of Aspergillus and Penicillium, and the sporangia of the Rhizopus.
