Simple Machines: Screw Model

A screw is just an inclined plane wrapped around a post. Help students understand the advantages of screws using this model from Eisco®. A teacher's manual containing student experiment worksheets is included. An egg, a dish that fits under the platform of the screw, a block of wood (item #971740), a ruler (items #702616 and/or #702611), and scrap metal blocks are needed to complete the experiments but are not included.
