Writing with Purpose Introductory Kit

Uses oral language and thinking skills as a foundation for successful writing. The program discusses what writing is and focuses on forms of expository writing. The 92-page student book incorporates clear illustrations, graphic organizers, and writing frames to support reluctant writers. Each chapter has five lessons that follow an identical sequence: plan, write, and review. The 100-page teacher’s guide includes lesson plans and writing rubrics.
